burn through your candles until there is about 1" of wax left in the bottom.

using either a spoon and glass cleaner or soap and warm water, clean out the remaining wax and wick base to avoid a $2 cleaning fee per dirty vessel.

bring (or ship) your empty, clean vessels to the shop and choose your refill scent. you're welcome to fill with the original or pick a new scent each time!

what you need to know:

• the refill price will be half the retail price of your chosen refill scent. please note that candle collection prices vary.
• once you have selected your refill scent, the shop assistant will collect your contact information and payment.
• from there, the candles will be taken to the candle studio to be refilled.
• you will receive a text in about 7 business days to let you know that your new candles are complete and ready to pick up!

reed diffusers are a great way to add scent to a room for months at a time without the extra care that lit candles require.

hold onto the cap that comes on your diffuser bottle and bring it in with you when it's time to refill.

new diffuser reeds are $2 for a set of 8.

be sure to flip your reeds every couple of weeks for a boost of fragrance!

you can do this with any refillable often wander product! this includes candles, diffusers, incense, room sprays, perfume, bath salts, hand sanitizer, and hair + beard oils.

be sure to include a note with the fragrances you would like your vessels filled with.

email hello@oftenwander.com your shipment tracking number so that we may keep an eye out for your package. please also note your phone number and return address.

once we have received your package, we will create and send you an invoice for the refill and return shipping costs. please note, if you send in dirty vessels, you will be charged an addition $2 service fee per dirty container.

when we have received payment verification, we will then fill your candles. due to the nature of candle pouring, it will be 7-10 business days before your candles will be ready to ship. a notification will be sent to your email with tracking information once your candles are on their way to you.

can i ship in my custom vessels?

yes! check out our special vessel fills or main faq page for additional information.

how should i pack my vessels for shipping?

you can use items you already have in your home! be sure to wrap your vessel(s) with padding like newspaper, then secure them in a box with enough padding that they cannot move around.

what if my often wander vessel is damaged during shipping?

if damaged on its way to us, we can replace it for $5. if your refill is damaged on its way back to you, contact us so we can make it right.
